Meet our Therapist:

Irma works with adult women who are ready to better understand themselves, break unhelpful patterns, and feel more grounded in their daily lives. Many of her clients are balancing emotional demands, relationships, and life transitions while managing anxiety, mood concerns, or ongoing stress. She offers a supportive, bilingual (English/Spanish) space to grow, gain insight, and step fully into your own authenticity.

She believes that growth begins with feeling seen, heard, and supported. She specializes in working with women navigating life transitions, emotional challenges, and relationship stressors. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, or the demands of care-giving, work, and relationships, she provides a compassionate, respectful, and non-judgmental space to explore concerns at your own pace. Her approach is grounded in empathy, trust, and collaboration, helping women build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward healing.

Therapy should be a collaborative, respectful, and empowering process. Each person carries a unique story shaped by relationships, culture, and life experiences. Her role as a therapist is to walk alongside you as you build insight, self-compassion, and meaningful change. Healing happens in a space where you feel seen, heard, and emotionally safe. Therapy should move at your pace and honor your strengths while gently exploring patterns that may no longer serve you. She values culturally responsive, trauma-informed care and the importance of language and lived experience in healing. She creats a supportive space where you can show up as your full self. You don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. She is here to support you on your journey toward healing. Everyone has the inner courage to create lasting change—it begins with acknowledging you want support and taking the first step. Reach out and book your appointment today.

Childhood Trauma Therapy

Childhood trauma can affect emotional health, relationships, and self-esteem well into adulthood. Many adults experience anxiety, depression, emotional triggers, or unhealthy patterns linked to early life experiences and unresolved trauma.

How much does it cost?

At Vida & Hope Counseling PLLC, we accept many major insurance plans, including select Medicare Advantage plans, to help make mental health therapy more affordable and accessible. Because insurance benefits and network participation can vary, we encourage you to reach out if you do not see your specific insurance provider listed on our website. The cost of therapy is individualized based on your unique insurance coverage, including copays, coinsurance, and deductible requirements. If you have a deductible that has not been met, you may be responsible for the full session fee until your deductible is satisfied. Our team is happy to help verify your mental health benefits and explain your estimated out-of-pocket costs, so you can make informed decisions with clarity and confidence.

If you are booking online, our therapist will reach out to you by phone within 24 hours to confirm your session. Calls will come from 775-386-2778. During this call, we will also let you know whether your insurance benefits were successfully verified and provide an estimate of your cost per session, so you can feel informed and prepared ahead of time.

To ensure a smooth and stress-free experience, insurance verification must be completed at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. If we are unable to verify your insurance within this time frame, your appointment will be canceled and rescheduled once verification is complete. This helps us avoid unexpected costs and ensures clarity before your visit.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions—we’re happy to help.
